Brow Lamination Questions
What is brow lamination?
It’s a mini perming service designed specifically for brows. The process involves securing the hair in an upward stroke pattern, then setting them into place with a gentle brow perming solution. Adding tint to your service is a great option for extra richness and depth.
How many times can Brow Lamination be repeated?
The service can be repeated at any time when the effect weakens around 4-6 weeks.
How safe is the treatment?
The treatment is safe! All products are specially developed for the eye area under the strictest guidelines and are very well tolerated.
What should be considered after the treatment?
After lamination, the eyebrows are malleable and still flexible. Therefore, the eyebrows should not come into contact with water or steam for 24 hours after the treatment. Mechanical movements such as rubbing, exfoliating, swimming and going to the sauna should be avoided in the first 24 hours after the treatment.
Can I get my brows waxed at the same time?
Yes, any type of hair removal will need to be done at the end of your brow lamination and as well after tinting brows.
Is Brow Lamination also suitable for thin and few eyebrows?
Even very thin eyebrows can appear fuller as a result of the treatment. The new shape of the brows makes them appear longer and thicker.
What are the contraindications for brow lamination?
Very dry skin. If you use a retinol cream daily, or AHA/BHA cleansers your skin may be too dry for this service and you should discontinue use 5-7 days prior to your treatment depending how intensive your skin care routine is, to avoid redness and dry skin in the treated brow area. You can not receive this service if you have recently had any aggressive recent facial procedures (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling, and laser treatments) If you’re experiencing active acne breakouts or wounds in the brow area this service should not be done on open wounds or active breakouts. If you’re experiencing certain types of hormonal changes or thyroid conditions that cause hair loss you should wait to receive this service until things balance out in your system.
Can I get brow lamination if I'm pregnant?
Please check with your physician.
Microcurrent Questions
What is microcurrent?
Microcurrent is a low-level electrical current commonly used for facial toning and rejuvenation in facials. It's safe, non-invasive, and clinically tested.
Can I use microcurrent before and after plastic surgery?*
Before your surgery you can. After the surgery, please consult with your doctor on when you can use microcurrent again. Once you're given the go ahead by your doctor, these facials can actually support the healing process and improve your results.
Can I use microcurrent if I've had anti-wrinkle Injections or derma fillers treatment?*
Microcurrent stimulates the muscles and activates them, while Invasive Treatments freezes the muscles. If you’ve just had Invasive Treatments done in a certain area, then you might need to avoid using microcurrent in that area, as it will start to undo the effect of Invasive Treatments. However, if you are in the phase where the effect of Invasive Treatments is running out, then microcurrent might be a better technology to use in that area to avoid usage of Invasive Treatments altogether. It will take some time but your muscles will reactivate and help build tone and firmness, instead of getting more laxed due to Invasive Treatments. There is no effect of microcurrent on Derma Fillers Treatment and it’s safe to use it. However, you should still consult your doctor.
Can I do a microcurrent treatment if I have metal plates, dental work or piercings on the face?*
We receive a lot of questions about the safety of using microcurrent facial technology on someone who has facial piercings, dental work or metal plates. Under these circumstances, microcurrent is still safe to use. In the case of facial piercings you may remove them for a more smooth facial or for peace of mind, but it is not necessary to do so.
Who is NOT a candidate for microcurrent?*
- If you are pregnant
- Have had heart surgery in the past year
- Have a pacemaker, metal implants or screws
- Recent facial operation or procedure
- All forms of “active” cancer (ok with note from doctor - No if on chemo or radiation)
- Epilepsy, Diabetes, Heart Condition
- Under the age of 18

LED Light Therapy Questions
What is LED (light emitting diode) light therapy?*
LED therapy, promotes cellular metabolism and collagen production for smooth, healthy skin. Low-level-light therapy is based on light emitting diode (LED) technology developed for NASA-manned space flight experiments. In comparison to lasers, the patented LED technology generates negligible amounts of heat and is not considered a significant risk device. It's non-invasive, painless, requires no downtime, clinically validated, and safe for all skin types.
What are the benefits?*
- Anti-Aging: Red and near-infrared wavelengths enhance the body's ability to activate the cells that produce collagen and elastin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
- Acne Treatment: Blue and red light are used to kill bacteria that causes breakouts, while reducing inflammation, pimples and redness.
Are there any harmful side effects to low-level light therapy?*
LED devices are considered extremely low risk when used as intended. Unlike other types of light therapy treatments, low-level light therapy LED machines do not contain ultraviolet rays (UV rays from the sun), so there is no risk of cancer-causing damage to skin cells and tissue.
Does light therapy utilize UV light?*
No. The device I use (Celluma) utilizes a combination of blue, red, and near-infrared (not visible to the naked eye) light emitting diodes (LEDs) only.
Who is NOT a candidate for LED light therapy?*
- Children under 12
- Please consult your oncologist if you're currently in treatment for cancer.
